Prof. (Dr.) Baljeet Singh Saharan presently working as Principal Scientist CumI/C Center of Biofertilizer Production and Technology Department of Microbiology Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University Hisar 125 004, India. Dr. Saharan has contributed significantly in the field of natural farming and agricultural Microbiology. He is an Expert on the Sustainability of Agriculture based on Agroecology. He has conducted extensive research on various bio-inputs being used in the natural farming practices and also has been extensively working on microbial diversity of dung from different animals. He is recipient of prestigious DAAD (Indo - German) AWARD 2003, Commonwealth fellowship (UK) 2008 and Raman Fellowship (Indo-US) 2013 for Post-Doctoral studies in Germany, England and United States of America. He has guided 21 Ph.D. and 50 M.Sc. students, has published more than 100 research papers, 3 books and other manuals on natural farming practices.
Ms. Swati Meel is a Ph.D. research scholar in the Department of Microbiology at Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar. She holds an M.Sc. in Microbiology from Kurukshetra University and a B.Sc. from Dayanand College, Hisar. Her research is focused on phenazine production for plant protection of wheat, under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Baljeet Singh Saharan.
